Ten Pilgrims Injured in Vehicle Overturn on Highway South of Hilla

Hilla: Ten pilgrims visiting the Arbaeen commemoration were injured when a car overturned south of Hilla. The incident took place on the highway linking Babylon and Diwaniyah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the accident occurred on a Tuesday, causing injuries to all ten individuals traveling in the vehicle. Brigadier General Zaher Mohammed, Director of Media for the Babylon Traffic Police, confirmed the details of the incident. He stated, "Ten pilgrims were injured when the vehicle they were traveling in overturned on the highway linking Babylon and Diwaniyah, south of Hillah."

He also mentioned that the injured pilgrims were transported to Hillah Surgical Hospital for medical treatment. The authorities are likely to investigate the cause of the accident to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
