According to National Iraqi News Agency, Barzani, in a post on the X platform, reflected on the occasion of Arba'een of Imam Hussein, highlighting the values of sacrifice, patience, courage, and defense of truth, justice, and dignity that the event represented. He stated, "We recall his immortal uprising and the values it embodied."

Barzani added that there is inspiration to be drawn from this occasion for unity and solidarity, recognizing the shared challenges and common destiny faced by all.
