Baghdad: The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities has been actively engaging in cultural and artistic activities across several governorates, orchestrated through its Public Cultural Relations Department. These initiatives, including seminars, exhibitions, and cultural programs, aim to enhance public awareness, tackle contemporary issues, and foster youth development.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a notable seminar addressing cybercrimes was organized at the Faily Cultural Center in Baghdad’s Palestine Street. This event, in collaboration with the Cybercrime Directorate, focused on identifying prominent forms of online fraud, extortion, and digital terrorism, and discussed strategies to combat these challenges while promoting the safe use of technology.

In Diyala, the Palace of Culture and Arts, along with the College of Basic Education at Diyala University, hosted a seminar examining the role of digital media in future advancements. The discussion highlighted the necessity of preparing media professionals to adeptly handle digital transitions and meet the evolving demands of the job market.

Kirkuk’s Palace of Culture and Arts concentrated on enhancing job performance and work efficiency through a dedicated seminar. Meanwhile, in Nineveh, the Palace of Culture and Arts presented the “Revival” exhibition under the “Arab Window” initiative. This exhibition involved thirty young participants showcasing projects that creatively repurpose elements of traditional Arab and Mosul architecture with a modern and sustainable perspective.

In Diwaniyah, the Palace of Culture and Arts, in collaboration with Al-Suraa News Agency, organized a comprehensive book fair. The event displayed over 70 titles published by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, covering a range of cultural, literary, social, and historical topics. The fair attracted significant interest from young readers and literary enthusiasts.
