Diyala: Diyala FC staged a late comeback to defeat Al-Talaba 2-1 in a match held this evening at Diyala Stadium as part of the first round of the Iraqi Stars League.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Talaba took the lead first with a header from Saif Rashid in the 20th minute. Diyala equalized through Mohammed Khudair in the 84th minute, and Salem Ahmed snatched the victory for Diyala with a goal in the 87th minute. The match ended with Diyala winning 2-1, and Diyala opens the season with three valuable points.
