Head of Engineering Effort Team Oversees Najaf Health Center Construction

Najaf: The head of the Service and Engineering Effort Team, Engineer Abdul Razzaq Al-Maliki, is overseeing the construction of an integrated health center in Najaf. During a recent field visit to the construction site located in the Al-Nidaa neighborhood of Najaf Governorate, Al-Maliki reviewed the progress of the work and monitored various phases of implementation. He highlighted the importance of adhering to technical specifications and meeting the specified timeframe, emphasizing the project’s direct impact on the health services available to local residents.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the project is considered crucial for enhancing health services and providing primary medical care to the population. The health center, covering an area of 2,500 square meters, will be a two-and-a-half-story building designed to offer a comprehensive range of health services. These services will include medical examinations, prenatal and pediatric care, vaccination programs, chronic disease management, and a specialized dental clinic, aiming to create a complete healthcare environment. This initiative is expected to ease the burden on citizens who currently travel to distant health centers.

During his visit, Al-Maliki reiterated that service projects extend beyond infrastructure, roads, and water and sewage networks to include improvements in health, education, and other essential services that directly affect citizens’ lives. He stressed the necessity of maintaining an accelerated pace of work to complete the project and bring it into service within two months.
