Diwaniyah: The Diwaniyah Health Department has announced the arrival of several crucial medical devices to the hospitals in the province. This development is expected to significantly enhance the medical services available to the local population.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the department’s media director, Amer al-Kinani, revealed that the new equipment includes an advanced endoscope for urinary tract procedures, specifically intended for urological surgery operating rooms. This device, supplied by the German company STORZ, is part of a broader initiative to improve surgical capabilities in the region. Along with the endoscope, the department received 10 infant incubators, which are part of an allocation of 30 incubators. These devices will play a vital role in the department’s project to establish neonatal intensive care units at the Maternity and Children’s Teaching Hospital.

The arrival of operational and supplementary supplies for the medical equipment marks a significant step forward in healthcare provisions in Diwaniyah. The new equipment is anticipated to improve patient outcomes and support the medical staff in delivering high-quality care.
