Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence Agencies Discuss Enhanced Coordination and Information Exchange

Baghdad: The head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Zaid Hawshi al-Moussawi, recently received the deputy head of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, Waqas al-Hadithi, at the service’s headquarters. The meeting took place on Saturday and focused on mutual interests in security and intelligence.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussion revolved around several crucial security and intelligence files. Both parties explored ways to improve coordination and facilitate the exchange of information and expertise between the two agencies. This collaboration aims to bolster national efforts in pursuing the remnants of terrorist groups, ensuring a more comprehensive approach to counter-terrorism.
