Duhok: Duhok and their guests Al-Gharraf shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in their opening match of the Iraqi Stars League, played at Duhok Stadium.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Syrian professional Mahmoud Al-Mawas missed a penalty for Duhok in the 13th minute, and Al-Gharraf took the lead in the 43rd minute through Zambian professional Prince Mumba. Duhok equalized in the 79th minute through Karsan Doski, ending the match in a draw and earning each team a point in their first match of the Iraqi Stars League.
