New york: Gold rose on Monday, supported by a weaker dollar and fading expectations of an interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve (the US central bank). Spot gold increased by 1.2 percent, reaching $4,426.52 per ounce.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, US gold futures for December delivery also saw a rise, climbing 1.1 percent to $4,484.10. The increase in gold prices reflects broader market trends, as other precious metals similarly experienced gains.

The fluctuations in precious metal prices are closely watched by investors, particularly in the context of changing economic policies and currency valuations.
