Baghdad: The Kadhimiya Culture and Arts Forum, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Holy Kadhimiya Shrine, and the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, recently organized a training and introductory visit to the Cotton Factory operated by the General Company for Textile and Leather Industries. The initiative saw participation from several young individuals eager to learn about national industries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the visit included a comprehensive field tour of the factory’s departments and workshops. Participants gained insights into the nature of work, stages of production, and key national products, particularly focusing on the woven plastic bag factory and the medical products factory. Department heads provided explanations on production mechanisms and emphasized their role in supporting local industry.

The visit is part of the forum’s training and cultural program, which aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of young people. It provides an opportunity for them to learn firsthand about state institutions and national industrial capabilities, fostering a culture of pride in Iraqi products.
