Iraq and Saudi Arabia Discuss Energy Security and Supply Stability


Iraq: Iraq and Saudi Arabia discussed supporting energy security and the stability of oil supplies on Friday.



According to Iraqi News Agency, a Saudi statement indicated that Saudi Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Minister of Finance, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, met in Riyadh on Friday with their Iraqi counterparts, Faleh Sari and Basim Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi, respectively.



The statement added that the meeting addressed topics of mutual interest to Saudi Arabia and Iraq, and explored ways to enhance cooperation in various fields to serve the shared interests of both countries. The two sides also reviewed regional developments and efforts to support energy security and the stability of oil supplies.
