Baghdad: The Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, Qasim al-Sudani, visited the newly renovated Museum of Iraqi Writers in Baghdad. During his visit, al-Sudani praised the pioneering role of the Iraqi Writers Union in establishing such a valuable museum, which houses rare collections and manuscripts by a large number of Iraqi writers in the fields of poetry, novels, short stories, and art and culture in general.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Sudani, accompanied by a group of prominent Iraqi figures in the arts, sports, and culture, was received by the Union’s President, poet Dr. Arif al-Saadi, Secretary-General, poet Dr. Omar al-Sarai, and several members of the Executive Office and the Union’s Central Council.
