Sharjah: The Higher Organizing Committee for the Sharjah Theatre Days held its first meeting at the Palace of Culture, gearing up for the 36th edition of the event. This prominent artistic and cultural gathering will showcase Emirati theatre groups in competition and will feature intellectual and critical activities along with training workshops.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the committee announced that the upcoming edition is scheduled from March 17 to 24. Registered theatre groups have until November 30 to submit their entries. Sharjah Theatre Days, founded in 1984, not only includes the main competition but also hosts several associated events. These include the Sharjah Award for Arab Theatrical Creativity, the Local Personality of the Year Award, the Intellectual Forum, and the Sharjah Forum for Pioneers of Arab Theatre.
