Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi visited the Mus©e de l’Arm©e in Paris on Monday. An official reception ceremony was organized for PM Al-Zaidi at the Mus©e de l’Arm©e (Les Invalides) in the French capital, Paris.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister was welcomed by French Minister of the Armed Forces Catherine Vautrin, with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-No«l Barrot also in attendance. During the ceremony, the national anthems of Iraq and France were played, and the ceremonial honor guard was inspected by the visiting dignitary.

The French Minister provided PM Al-Zaidi with an overview of the military and architectural history of the Mus©e de l’Arm©e, emphasizing the national symbolism it holds in French history.
