Baghdad: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf expressed his gratitude to the Iraqi people for holding funeral ceremonies for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ghalibaf, speaking from Najaf, which he reached today as part of his visit to Iraq, acknowledged the longstanding hospitality of the Iraqi people. He remarked, “The Iraqi people have hosted millions of Iranian pilgrims during the Arba’een pilgrimage over the years, and this is nothing new for Iraqis.”
