Baghdad: The Iraqi Meteorological Organization has forecasted increased dust and rising temperatures in the country over the coming days. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Saturday’s weather will be clear across Iraq, with some clouds expected in the eastern parts of the northern region. Temperatures are set to rise in the southern and northern regions, while remaining similar to the previous day in the central region.

The report from the organization detailed the expected maximum temperatures for Saturday in various Iraqi governorates: Dohuk will reach 41°C, Sulaimaniyah 42°C, Erbil, Nineveh, and Anbar are anticipated to hit 43°C, Baghdad and Diyala 44°C, Salah al-Din, Karbala, Babylon, Diwaniyah, and Muthanna 45°C, with Maysan and Basra reaching a high of 47°C.

The weather on Sunday is also expected to be clear, with a rise in temperatures compared to Saturday. On Monday, the weather will remain generally clear with light to moderate northwesterly winds, which may become more active during the day, leading to dust storms in some areas of the southern region. Temperatures are predicted to rise a few degrees in the central region and slightly in the southern region compared to the previous day, with no significant changes in the northern region.

For Tuesday, the forecast indicates generally clear weather with some clouds in the western parts of the central region. Temperatures are expected to remain similar in the central region, slightly lower in the northern region, and slightly higher in the southern region compared to the previous day.
