Baghdad: The Federal Police Command has denied reports circulating on some social media sites and platforms about clashes and gunfire in Sadr City, east of Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Federal Police Command released an official statement early Friday morning, asserting that the security situation throughout Sadr City, in all its sectors, is completely stable. The statement highlighted that movement in the area is normal, and field units are actively carrying out their duties to maintain security and stability, serving citizens as usual.
