Baghdad: The Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, Qasim al-Araji, met with Beno®t Comborio, the French Charg© d’Affaires in Iraq, to discuss the ongoing friendly relations between Iraq and France and explore avenues for enhancing cooperation to serve the mutual interests of both nations. The meeting also focused on various issues of mutual interest.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Araji highlighted the significance of bolstering bilateral cooperation and exchanging expertise, especially in the security and economic sectors, to support stability and foster security and development. He underscored the need for continued coordination and dialogue between the two countries concerning regional and international developments and their effects on the region’s security and stability.

The French Charg© d’Affaires acknowledged the strengthening relations with Iraq and reiterated France’s commitment to broadening the scope of bilateral cooperation. He affirmed France’s support for Iraq’s endeavors to enhance its security and stability.
