Baghdad: The Union of Lawyers has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the Iraqi Bar Association in celebration of Iraqi Lawyers’ Day and the 93rd anniversary of the Bar Association’s founding.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the head of the Iraqi Jurists Union, Qasim Ta’ma Jawda, expressed his best wishes to lawyers across Iraq. In his message, Jawda highlighted the professional and national contributions of lawyers, emphasizing their role in upholding justice, defending rights and freedoms, and maintaining the rule of law.

Jawda remarked on the integral position of lawyers within the Iraqi legal community, noting their partnership in the mission of law and justice. He emphasized that the legal community is united by shared values and principles, including respect for the law, the preservation of rights, and service to society.

On this significant occasion, Jawda reiterated the pride held by the Iraqi Jurists Union in its relationship with the legal profession. He acknowledged the pivotal role that Iraqi lawyers play in protecting rights and establishing the foundations of justice and the rule of law.
