Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haybat al-Halbousi and a delegation from the Christian Suwayana Bloc, led by MP Kaldo Ramzi Oghna, convened to discuss the enhancement of Parliament’s legislative and supervisory functions on Monday.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place with a focus on various files and issues pertinent to the Christian community, alongside discussions on topics related to the overall functioning of Parliament. The dialogue aimed at exploring ways to fortify the legislative and supervisory roles within the parliamentary framework.
