Baghdad Operations Command Announces Successful Security Plan for Prophet Birthday Celebrations


Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command announced on Tuesday the successful implementation of its security plan to secure celebrations marking the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday in the Al-Adhamiya district.



According to Iraqi News Agency, the official spokesman for the Baghdad Operations Command, Major General Abbas Raihan, stated that the command has achieved many successes, particularly in securing large-scale pilgrimages. He noted that Al-Adhamiya is safe and stable today, receiving delegations from across the capital and the provinces to celebrate the occasion of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.



He further explained that the security plan was successfully implemented, characterized by the absence of armed displays. There was a high level of cooperation between the security forces and citizens to maintain the security and stability that Baghdad is currently enjoying.



Raihan highlighted the existing solidarity between the holy Kadhimiya and Al-Adhamiya areas, through the Imams Bridge, in performing the pilgrimage rituals. This cooperation is taking place in an atmosphere of reassurance and spirituality, contributing to strengthening security and stability.
