Baghdad: The President of the Republic of Iraq, Nizar Amidi, received Adnan Azara Al-Majoun, the newly appointed Iraqi Ambassador to Malaysia, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad. During the meeting, President Amidi accepted Al-Majoun’s credentials and discussed plans to strengthen bilateral relations between Iraq and Malaysia.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the President highlighted the important role of diplomatic missions in promoting Iraq’s image internationally. He stressed the need to enhance Iraqi-Malaysian relations and to address the needs of the Iraqi community residing in Malaysia. President Amidi also extended his best wishes to Ambassador Al-Majoun for success in his new responsibilities.

Ambassador Adnan Azara Al-Majoun expressed his gratitude for the President’s support of Iraq’s diplomatic efforts. He affirmed his dedication to performing his duties in a manner that would contribute to strengthening Iraq’s relations with Malaysia.
