Baghdad: President Nizar Amidi received the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Iraq, Ahmed Samir, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad on Wednesday, marking the conclusion of the Ambassador’s tenure in Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting involved discussions on the bilateral relations between Iraq and Egypt. President Amidi emphasized the need for ongoing development and expansion of cooperative efforts between the two nations. He acknowledged Ambassador Samir’s contributions during his service in Iraq and extended well wishes for his future endeavors.

Ambassador Ahmed Samir expressed gratitude towards President Amidi, conveying his honor in serving in Iraq. He reaffirmed his dedication to maintaining and supporting the strong fraternal ties between Iraq and Egypt.
