Diwaniyah: The Palace of Culture and Arts in Diwaniyah, in collaboration with the Nippur Volunteer Team, recently organized an exhibition focused on folk heritage, handicrafts, and textiles. This event, part of the General Directorate of Cultural Relations at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, provided a platform to highlight a variety of heritage artifacts that are central to Iraqi folk traditions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hazem Jaber, Director of Media at the Diwaniyah Cultural Center, emphasized the exhibition’s role in connecting young people with their cultural roots. “This initiative aims to introduce young people to their rich heritage, whose history is etched in the annals of the past with the most beautiful artistic and cultural artifacts, inherited with beauty and authenticity,” Jaber stated.

He further mentioned that the exhibition includes a permanent art display, showcasing over 60 paintings by artists from Diwaniyah. These artworks serve as a testament to the vibrant cultural scene within the halls of the Palace of Culture and Arts in Diwaniyah.
