Baghdad: Member of Parliament Murtadha al-Saadi visited the headquarters of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate to learn about the syndicate’s work and its role in supporting Iraqi journalists and media.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Saadi praised the national role played by the syndicate and its efforts in supporting national issues and serving Iraqi journalists and media. He also emphasized the importance of continued cooperation and coordination between the legislative body and the syndicate to serve the journalistic community and strengthen the role of national media.

For its part, the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate welcomed MP Murtadha al-Saadi’s visit, stressing the importance of communication and coordination with Parliament and various state institutions to support and develop journalistic work in accordance with laws, legislation, and professional standards.
