Baghdad: The House of Representatives adjourned its session until tomorrow, Thursday. The Iraqi Parliament concluded the first reading of two significant draft laws before deciding to pause the session.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the first reading covered the draft law ratifying the agreement on the promotion and protection of mutual investments between the governments of Iraq and Turkey. This draft law is aimed at fostering economic cooperation and ensuring the security of investments between the two nations.

Additionally, the Parliament completed the first reading of the draft law concerning Iraq’s accession to the Arab Customs Cooperation Agreement. This agreement is a crucial step towards enhancing customs collaboration among Arab countries, potentially boosting trade and economic integration in the region.
