Baghdad: Official document confirms that the Ministry of Education has suspended the transfer of students to schools for gifted students for the 2026-2027 academic year. The Ministry of Education, represented by the General Directorate of Public, Private, and Foreign Education, announced the suspension of student transfers from public secondary schools to schools for gifted students for the 2026-2027 academic year.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate explained, according to a statement from the Ministry of Education, that “the decision was made due to the approaching start of the new academic year and the fact that schools for gifted students have reached their allocated capacity.”
