Baghdad: The Iraqi Meteorological Organization has announced a detailed weather forecast, predicting rainfall in certain areas over the coming days.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the organization provided a comprehensive outlook, stating that Friday’s weather will be predominantly clear with sporadic cloud appearances in the southern region. The winds are expected to be light and variable, while temperatures will remain consistent with those recorded the previous day across the country, with Baghdad experiencing a minimum of 30 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 47 degrees Celsius.
The forecast for Saturday anticipates clear skies with some cloud cover, particularly in the eastern parts of the northern region, along with a possibility of light rain. Winds will shift to light to moderate southwesterly, becoming more active during the day in the central and southern regions, potentially causing light dust. A slight increase in temperatures from the previous day is expected throughout the country.
The Meteorological Authority also highlighted that Sunday will see clear weather with clouds in scattered areas, notably in the eastern parts of the northern region, and a chance of light rain. Winds are predicted to be light to moderate from the southwest, with temperatures dropping slightly in the central and northern regions, while remaining steady in the southern region.
For Monday, the Authority forecasts clear weather nationwide, with light to moderate northwesterly winds that will become more active in the western parts of the central region. A slight decrease in temperatures compared to the previous day is expected across the country.
