Baghdad: The head of the Baghdad Provincial Council, Ammar al-Hamdani, has issued a warning concerning the ongoing construction of informal settlements around the city and attempts to intimidate the security forces in the area.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Hamdani emphasized that the construction of these informal settlements will eventually face limitations. He also cautioned against any actions that could lead to the escalation of tensions and the intimidation of security forces responsible for maintaining order in the vicinity.

Al-Hamdani assured that the Baghdad Provincial Council is prepared to implement decisive measures to address and curb these violations, underscoring the council’s commitment to maintaining stability and security in the region.
