Baghdad: Mayor Ammar Moussa has announced the arrest of several individuals involved in the Al-Dora incident, as he monitored the condition of those injured during the event.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Baghdad Municipality released a statement revealing that Mayor Ammar Moussa visited the injured staff and employees who were attacked while executing their official duties of law enforcement and removing encroachments.

The statement detailed the Mayor’s visit to Al-Dora Hospital, where he inquired about the health of the injured and directed that they be provided with necessary support and medical care. He ensured their health would be monitored until full recovery, with all treatment costs covered by the municipality.

Mayor Moussa reiterated the Municipality’s unwavering support for its staff and employees in their commitment to serve Baghdad and uphold the law. He confirmed that several individuals involved in the incident have been apprehended, underscoring the city’s dedication to maintaining order and justice.
