Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi stressed the importance of developing the performance of media institutions and raising the level of media content in a recent meeting with the head of the Iraqi Media Network, Karim Hammadi. The discussions centered around aligning the network’s role with the country’s progress and strengthening the national media message to effectively convey facts to the public, thereby supporting reconstruction and development efforts.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister highlighted the significance of enhancing professionalism and objectivity within media institutions to meet societal aspirations and the evolving demands of the next phase. The meeting also focused on exploring ways to support the Iraqi Media Network in developing its capabilities, ensuring it can fulfill its role as the state’s official media institution.
