Diyala: A wanted man was arrested on terrorism charges in Diyala as part of a targeted security operation. A joint security force successfully carried out the operation in the Al-Waqf Basin area, northeast of Baquba, leading to the arrest of an individual wanted under Article 4 of the Counter-Terrorism Law. The suspect has been handed over to the competent authorities for further legal proceedings.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation is part of ongoing security efforts aimed at pursuing remnants of terrorist elements and tracking down targets on the wanted list. The security forces are intensifying their operations with the objective of apprehending wanted individuals, cutting off sources of terrorism, and enhancing security and stability within the province.
