Baghdad: Two people were injured in a car fire south of Hillah, the capital of Babil Governorate. Aqeel Abdullah, the media director for the Babil Civil Defense, stated, “A fire broke out in a car carrying two people in the Al-Hashimiyah district, south of Hillah.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the fire resulted in burns to both occupants, who were subsequently transported to the hospital.
