Diwaniyah: Residents of the Al-Janoub neighborhood in the center of Diwaniyah province staged a demonstration and blocked the main street to protest the abandonment of the area’s rehabilitation by the company contracted to carry out the work.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the residents of Al-Janoub have called on the local government to pressure the company to resume work and complete the infrastructure, paving, and asphalting projects.
