Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi offered his condolences on Friday on the death of King Harald V of Norway. A statement from his media office indicated that in a telegram of condolence sent to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr St¸re, al-Zaidi expressed his condolences to the friendly Norwegian people on this occasion, praying for peace and rest for the soul of the late king.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister recalled the political and humanitarian support Norway has provided to Iraq in various fields over the years.
