Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi congratulated the new King of Norway, Haakon VIII, on his accession to the throne.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister expressed Iraq’s keenness to build the best relations and partnerships between the two friendly countries and to open up avenues for bilateral cooperation at various levels and in different fields, wishing continued prosperity to the people of Norway.
