Baghdad: Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, the Secretary-General of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, and Hoshyar Zebari, a leader in the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), convened in Baghdad to discuss enhancing communication and cooperation on matters crucial to the nation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sheikh al-Khazali welcomed Zebari and a delegation of KDP members to Baghdad. The primary focus of their meeting was to explore ways to strengthen relations and improve collaboration on issues of national significance. The discussions emphasized the importance of supporting government initiatives and achieving success through coordinated efforts.

Both parties underscored the importance of dialogue as the most effective means to resolve ongoing challenges between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region. They reiterated their commitment to fostering a cooperative environment that supports the government’s goals and addresses shared concerns.
