Diwaniyah: A meeting was held in Diwaniyah to prepare the 2027 budget. The local government in Diwaniyah Governorate conducted an expanded meeting to discuss the preparation of the 2027 program and performance budget, aiming to identify priorities and needs in alignment with the governorate’s plans and development goals. The meeting saw participation from the Deputy Governor for Technical Affairs, representatives of government departments and institutions, and directors of departments within the governorate’s office.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Diwaniyah Governor Abbas al-Zamili stated that the local government has instructed the relevant departments and government institutions to prepare a program budget for various service sectors. This initiative aims to address the current state of services and ensure service delivery to all areas.
