Maysan: Nawroz FC snatched three points with a 2-0 victory over hosts Naft Maysan FC in a match held today in Maysan as part of the fifth round of the Iraqi Premier League. Tunisian professional Habib Al-Waislati opened the scoring for Nawroz in the 36th minute, and Marwan Hussein sealed the win in the 85th minute.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Nawroz now have 8 points and sit in fourth place, while Naft Maysan remain on 3 points in eighteenth place.
