Ankara: Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Gler announced that his country is coordinating with Pakistan to end the war between Iran and America. Gler emphasized the collaborative efforts to achieve a ceasefire and lasting peace during a reception at the Pakistani Embassy in Ankara, held to commemorate Pakistan’s Defense and Martyrs’ Day.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Gler highlighted Turkey’s close coordination and consultation with Pakistan, which is actively involved in diplomatic efforts to mediate the conflict. He acknowledged Pakistan’s leadership in facilitating talks between Iran and the United States and praised its attempts to halt the ongoing clashes.

Gler expressed that both Turkey and Pakistan hold significant responsibilities in promoting international peace, stability, and security. He also discussed the evolving bilateral relations between the two nations, which have developed into a comprehensive partnership that includes defense, security, the economy, education, and technology.

Furthermore, Gler mentioned the joint defense agreement signed between Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia in Mecca, describing it as a “historic step” towards enhancing joint security and deterrence.
