Baghdad: Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has unveiled a controversial proposal named “Disengagement 710,” which aims to relocate approximately 1.86 million residents from the Gaza Strip to other countries over the span of seven years.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ben-Gvir, who leads the “Jewish Power” party, claims that some countries have expressed willingness to accept residents from Gaza. He also asserts that a significant number of people in the region are eager to leave. The proposed plan specifies that no individual would be permitted to depart without a confirmed destination, and it seeks to ensure that families remain unified throughout the process.

Ben-Gvir has also suggested the creation of a Ministry of Immigration to manage the execution of the plan. This new ministry would be tasked with coordinating the efforts and would include a dedicated minister and project director to oversee the operations.
