Basra Youth and Sports Directorate Celebrates Graduation of Eighth Batch from Al-Jannat Institute for Children with Autism


Basra: The Basra Youth and Sports Directorate organized a special festival coinciding with the graduation ceremony of the eighth post-challenge class from the Al-Jannat Institute for Children with Autism. The event, attended by key figures including the head of the Basra Provincial Council, Khalaf Al-Badran, several council members, and the director of Basra Youth and Sports, Sadiq Al-Kinani, was a significant occasion dedicated to celebrating the achievements of the graduating children.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ceremony highlighted the graduates’ efforts and achievements while also supporting their families and the educational and training staff who played crucial roles in their development. The festival organizers emphasized the importance of such events in promoting social inclusion and supporting children with autism. They aim to provide a stimulating environment that encourages the children to continue their journey and achieve their aspirations.



At the conclusion of the event, graduates were celebrated, and participants were honored amidst an atmosphere of joy and pride in this humanitarian and educational achievement. Additionally, it was announced that joint programs in the youth and sports fields will be developed between the Basra Youth and Sports Directorate and the Al-Jannat Institute for Children with Autism. These programs aim to support the children, develop their abilities, and enhance their participation in sports and youth activities.
