Najaf: The General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali, through the Alawi Education Authority, has inaugurated a series of Alawi schools as part of the Week of the Two Truthful Ones. This event was attended by various official, educational, academic, and community representatives.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Authority’s official spokesperson, Murtadha al-Hamami, described the project, which includes a mix of academic and Islamic schools for boys and girls, as well as kindergartens. Additionally, it features 12 clubs dedicated to discovering and nurturing talents among students. Three of these clubs are already operational: the Holy Quran Club, the Science and Technology Club, and the English Language Club.

The supervising engineer of the project reported that the development spans an area of 9,750 square meters, with buildings occupying 7,390 square meters. The facility consists of three floors, divided into two sections that accommodate both primary and secondary schools. The primary school consists of 30 classrooms, while the secondary school has 27 classrooms. The infrastructure also includes dedicated labs for chemistry, biology, and physics, as well as indoor sports halls, five-a-side football pitches, a basketball court, and a student club.
