Baghdad: The President of the Republic, Nizar Amidi, has expressed his condolences on the death of Abdul Wahid Ibrahim Sheikh Abdul Salam Barzani, the eldest brother of the Barzani family.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Amidi released a statement conveying his sorrow over the loss. “It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we received the news of the passing of the late Abdul Wahid Ibrahim Sheikh Abdul Salam Barzani, the elder brother of the Barzani family,” he stated.

The President extended his condolences to President Masoud Barzani, the family of the deceased, his relatives, and all who loved him. He prayed for mercy and forgiveness for Abdul Wahid Ibrahim Sheikh Abdul Salam Barzani and expressed a wish for patience and solace for his family and loved ones.
