Baghdad: The President of the Republic, Nizar Amidi, underscored the significance of prioritizing the national interest and empowering state institutions to effectively implement their government program during a recent meeting.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Amidi met with Aziz al-Rubaie, Secretary-General of the National Line Movement, and his delegation at the Peace Palace in Baghdad. The discussion focused on the latest political, economic, and security developments within the country, alongside regional issues.
President Amidi highlighted the critical need for ongoing consultations and dialogue among political forces. He emphasized the importance of unifying national efforts to consolidate political and institutional stability, stressing that the higher interests of Iraqis should be prioritized. The President called for a spirit of shared responsibility among political entities to confront the challenges facing the nation.
Furthermore, President Amidi reiterated the necessity of supporting the government in fulfilling its obligations. He urged for the swift completion of the cabinet to enhance the efficiency of state institutions, which is crucial for implementing their government program and addressing the needs and aspirations of citizens.
