Baghdad: Diyala Governor Adnan al-Shammari met with the head of the National Investment Commission, Adel al-Yassiri, to discuss the status of investment projects in the province and mechanisms for monitoring and expediting their implementation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, they reviewed several investment projects in Diyala, discussed the most significant obstacles and challenges hindering their implementation, and explored ways to address and overcome them, thereby contributing to the completion of the projects and boosting investment and development activity in the province.

During the meeting, held in Baghdad, al-Yassiri emphasized the importance of coordination and integration between the National Investment Commission, the local government, and legislative bodies to ensure effective monitoring of investment projects and address any issues that impede their progress, thereby achieving their economic and developmental goals and creating new investment and employment opportunities.
