Baghdad: The Strategic Psychological Cell of the National Security Advisory held its periodic meeting with Iraqi and international technical groups to address the issue of Iraqi families returning from northeastern Syria. The focus was particularly on those returning from Al-Hol camp to the Al-Amal Center for Psychological and Social Rehabilitation. Representatives from relevant Iraqi and international bodies and committees were in attendance.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting attendees discussed both completed and pending cases, as well as tasks related to the reintegration and rehabilitation of the returning families. They reviewed prominent success stories in these fields and tackled the problems and obstacles that the committees and relevant bodies face.

The meeting concluded with the formulation of recommendations and appropriate procedures aimed at addressing current challenges. This is expected to enhance coordination and cooperation between national and international entities, expedite the completion of cases, and support psychological and social rehabilitation programs. The goal is to achieve the sustainable reintegration of returning families.
