Baghdad: Minister of Education Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri has issued a directive for the admission of students with disabilities and special educational needs into regular classes. This decision comes as a response to numerous appeals from parents and aims to ensure that these students can continue their education seamlessly until special education classes are established.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Minister of Education stated that the integration of these students into regular classes is part of the broader comprehensive educational integration program. Once the required number of students, between six and twelve, is reached, these students will be transferred to special education classes, in line with ministerial guidelines, to ensure their educational progress remains uninterrupted.
