Baghdad: Data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) released on Sunday showed that Iraq ranked ninth among the largest suppliers of crude oil to the United States last week, averaging 38,000 barrels per day. This represents an increase compared to the previous week, which saw no US imports of Iraqi crude.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the EIA data indicated that Canada topped the list of major suppliers, followed by Venezuela in second place, Saudi Arabia in third, Mexico in fourth, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Nigeria in eighth. Iraq came in ninth, followed by Libya in tenth place.
