Karbala: Al-Zawraa emerged victorious in the Iraqi Clasico, securing a narrow 1-0 win over Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya. The match took place at Karbala International Stadium during the seventh round of the Iraqi Premier League.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Heran Ahmed was the hero of the match, scoring the decisive goal for Al-Zawraa in the 39th minute. The game took an early turn when Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya was reduced to ten players following the dismissal of Mohammed Sami in the 12th minute.

With this victory, Al-Zawraa has climbed to the top of the Premier League standings, accumulating 15 points. Meanwhile, Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya remains in eleventh place with 7 points.
